egg, to eat or not to eat???

hello all, i have a question about eggs??? i was recently on vacation, well not exactly vacation but i was away from home for 3 days at my daughters softball tourny. my question is while i was away my hens laid some eggs. not sure when they were laid but was wondering if the eggs were outside in the Louisiana heat for 3 days before i collected them, would they still be ok to eat??? thanks.

I don't think I'd chance it, but if you're feeling brave go ahead and open them up outside preferably

I wouldn't chance it. Your dogs or cats might enjoy them, though.

Welcome to BYC. I would cook them up for my pets or even the chickens - not for the family.
