egg too dark to candle

hey, just wondering, does anyone know how to candle blue ameraucana eggs.
i am having problems with it because the egg is blue and the light will not shine in

I'm having the same problem with some green eggs I was given. I'm just going to suck it up and wait. The eggs are due to hatch next week so we'll see.

HA! I got a batch of green eggs due in a week too!!! I decided to give up trying to candle them too.

its easy get a round oatmeal box cut a hole in the top , find a short lamp it will fit over put a 100 watt bulb in it and you can candle any egg.

I had a superbright led light that would have worked if my darn 8yr old boy didn't break it!!!! Now I gotta go buy a 100watt bulb. Dang.

i feel your pain, i had a good led too, but my older brother ran it over with a jeep. nooooooooooo
