Okay so I put eggs in the bator on Saturday. The turner seemed to be working fine until today. I can't be 100% certain though that it was turning yesterday because I was pretty busy and didn't really check on them often enough to notice.

What would be the best thing to do? Should I take them out of the turner and put them on the rack or in an egg carton? I have an LG still air bator. Since it's so early in the game will the not turning hurt them if only for a day or a bit more?
I would appreciate any advice as this is my first time trying to hatch chicken eggs in a styrofoam bator.

First, make sure it's really not working. Mark the position, set a timer or alarm for an hour, then check to see if it's moved. If not, then do what reb cow boy said.

Or tilt the whole 'bator (if the turner's in "neutral" position, rather than tipped to one side or the other) by propping up one side at a time.

The egg turner is working. For some reason it stopped but I just kind of jiggled a few things and it's been going ever since. Thanks though....
