Egg turner

I put 15 eggs in the hovabater Tuesday night (it is now Thursday afternoon) been SO fixed on the temp and humidity, but forgot to turn the egg turner on

Is it worth to keep going? Or am I going to collect new eggs and start over?

I think you should keep going, they are probably fine. Only 48 hours, keep going and candle them in a few days and see how they are doing.

Don't feel dumb! That is why we have BYC, to learn from each other in a judgement free zone! If that had been me, my first go round, I would have freaked out. lol

You and the eggs will be fine! For shipped eggs it's actually recommended to incubate for a few days upright without turning.

I'm new to incubating too and I've made many mistakes. Each time I've lost a few eggs but there has also been a few tough chicks determined to hatch despite my bumbling.

These came from my sister in law, about 45 minutes away, does that count as shipping?

Well, driving can be slightly rough on the eggs......But not as rough as shipping. You're probably good.
