I just bought a hova bator automatic egg turner. Does that white arm come off or stay on?

Are you talking about the white arm that is on the turner/motor part? And what are referring to about coming off?

Yes, that slides off. Should that be on or off. I thought that might be there for shipping purposes. The directions that came with it doesn't say anything about it which leads me to believe it should stay on.

Sometimes mine slides off too. That little white arm should be on. If it is not it is not going to turn the eggs for you. It's just going to do revolutions on its own.
