I have 14 bators of different sizes.. when I am hatching, I sometimes lose track of eggs because I am constantly adding new and different eggs.. many times I have had eggs hatch in the turners..
last summer I let a nest of guineas go in the coop until I had room in a bator for them.. when I finally collected the eggs I had 140 of them.. all laid by different guineas and at different times.. I loaded up a few of trays in the sportsman bator and waited.. I had keets hatching for weeks.. a couple here and a few there each day.. I hatched out over 100 keets from that batch of eggs.. they would hatch and work their way to the bottom of the bator where I had built a slide out tray to catch them.. worked like a charm..
I have 8 hovabator and little giant styrofoam bators with turners, and 3 jamesway 2940//
these hold 2940 eggs each...
one note here.. If you set your styrofoam bators out to dry in the sun,,, make sure they are out of reach from your chickens.. the chickens will destroy a styrofoam bator by pecking at it.. trust me..
