I have an LG incubator but I don't have the automatic egg turner. For all those that have this incubator would you recommend getting the turner for it or not? Would it make it easier? If I don't get one would it be better to open the incubator and turn them myself but mess with the temps or just actually tilt the incubator itself so that the temps remain stable.
What hydrometer would you recommend that is easier to read and is accurate?
Thanks. Any other info that would be helpful I would appreciate.

I hand turned my eggs. Though I do wonder if a turner would increase my hatching percent. I hope to buy a turner and try it in my LG.
On my home made I tilted the cooler to turn the eggs, the temps fluctuated a lot with the highest areas different than the lowest area. I didn't get a great hatch rate. Guess this would happen in the LG too. My homemade did better when I kept it level and hand turned the eggs.
This was my experience; yours results may vary from this. GL
