Hi there, since I have school to go to, it’s hard for me to turn the eggs constantly. I’ve been turning my chicken eggs for around 2 to 3 times. Although I have read in many forums that this is enough, school takes around 7 hours. So I flip them once in the morning, the second time I flip is all the way around 5:00. In case your wondering, this is for a science project and the whole point is to have it as low cost so I’m not allowed to purchase a automatic egg turner. I’ve only been incubating them for 52 hours and because this is my first time incubating eggs, I don’t know what there supposed to look like. If someone could just tell me if my eggs seem to be doing okay, that will be greatly appreciated.

Also, sorry if the image is bad quality, in person, I can actually see the blood island forming so...

You could turn them once in the morning, once after school, and once before you go to bed. That should be fine. Just take a pencil, and gently mark a x on one side and a O on the other. This way you know how much to turn them. You just need to make sure it is laying on a different side every time you turn it.

Welcome to our FUNomenal Flock! :frow Are you planning on candling everyday? Turning the eggs 3 times a day should be fine. Good luck with your hatch! Post more pictures throughout the incubation!
Thank you so much!!! I do intend to cancel evryday since the project wants you to keep track of the growth process.
