What is the way u turn the eggs while out of the incubator? end to end or side to side? thank you

There are two basic ways. You can lay them flat, put an x on one side and an o on the other, and just roll them over. The x and the o are just so you can tell when you have rolled them enough.

You can put them pointy side down and move then 90 degrees to one side, then 90 degrees to the other side, pretty much going through 180 degrees. A lot of people put them in egg cartons pointy side down and put a block of wood under one end. When they turn them, they put the block of wood under the other end.

I take the automatic turner out of my incubator, plug it in, and store the eggs in it, pointy side down.
