Help!! .lady call has been brooding for 13 days and nights only leaving.g nest 2 times a day for about twenty minutes then last night she wanted in the course was squawking so loud . . It was pouring with rain , thought she might of wanted a break but then would not come out. So her 12 eggs were on their own for about 9 hours. They are at the base of a very large pine tree quite protected. The temperature
outside was a out 10 degrees. Will the eggs still be liable. She was on them as soon as their door opened . I am hoping, any ideas please.

10°F? Or 10°C?

If it was freezing temperatures, I am unsure about any viability. 9 hours is a very long time to be at freezing.
If it was above freezing, there’s a better chance.
I would candle the eggs to check next time she gets off the nest.
