Hey guys, my hen laid its first egg for me today (woohoo). But I do know you are supposed to wash them before eating them, my question is how. What have you found to be the best way to wash a few vs mass washing. Thanks!

I don't wash mine before eating them unless they are dirty with poop. Then I just wipe it with a damp paper towel.

I rinse mine by hand in regular water - just use my hands to give them a gentle scrub to get off any unwanted 'stuff'. Haven't had any trouble.

Search for "washing eggs" in the forum - and you'll find more opinions on that topic than you'll be able to read.
