egg weighing

somewhere on here i read where someone was weighing their eggs..now i cant find it...but i have gotten 4 eggs now from my new golden comet hen and i weighed one of her eggs that was what i thought the biggest egg shes gave me so far and it weighed 3 oz or you could say 80 grams...now thats a good egg..now tell me please...why should i weigh my eggs? thank you
