egg weight?

Most messed up quotes happen because the person tries to fix their mistake and accidentally removes the bracket [ that is in front of the first QUOTE.

I’ve been so busy at work that I haven’t seen our birds on days... But I finished my big project today and spent a few happy hours with the birds. Welch’s babies are so big!!! 5.5 weeks and still locked in for the day. They were happy to get out for a bit, and I intend to give them more freedom now. I collected eggs tonight and thought I’d weigh some. Of the 10 I collected, most were very close to 45 g. The smallest one was 41 g: that’s Slate’s egg. I can tell Slate and Violet (the slate and pastel hens) eggs because they are solid pinkish with no spots. Since Slate and Violet are my only non-dotted hens, that’s made me wonder if the spots or stippling in guinea hen eggs is related to their dotting of their feather pattern... BTW, these guineas are regular, not jumbo.
