Egg with blood on shell

Is this normal? Pullets are 21/22 weeks old. A couple eggs had a little blood on shell today. Hoping not a problem!!

Blood on the shell is normal for new layers. It's nothing to worry about unless the problem continues for over a week.

I encounter such occasionally. I believe it is giving birth to a toooo large,, egg, and some tearing of the vent inevitable.
I knew which hen it was from , and hen is alive and well.

I just had this happen this morning. We have two new layers x 1 week and three girls who have not yet laid. Thought maybe it was one of the new girls first eggs?
