Hi. Does anyone know why a chicken would lay an Egg with no shell ? I have 19 young hens. Today I found an egg with no shell. Is that common in young hens? Thanks for any Info.

It's not unusual, not enough calcium, too much panting or stress can cause it occasionally.

Not unusual, young hens need to get all their kinks worked out. Make sure you give calcium and theirs not much more you can do!
