Egg with no yellow

Does this happen alot? It felt lighter
than the other eggs and had a small crack
at the bottom with some discoloration. I cracked
it and there was no yellow. What in the world?

It a dud or a blank. Sometimes they just don't function correctly, for whatever reason. Usually, they get back on track.

if its cracked then don't eat it. and if she has layer good eggs before then she should be going good. and maybe you'll get a double yoked out of the deal!
