Egg with odd blotchiness

Hi,

This egg has an odd speckling...the blue is blotchy rather than even mostly uniform. The whole egg looks like this. What causes this? Is something wrong?

Do you give them oyster shells or any other source of calcium?

I get eggs like this on occasion. I've always wondered what it was. I dont keep them because they freak me out.

Eta mine is from an EE as well. I do give oyster shell and feed back cooked and crumbled egg shells.

Yes, they have oyster shells.

It hasn't been in the fridge and it's about a week old.
