Egg withdrawal after mite dusting

Hi All,

I found a mite infestation about 2 weeks ago. I cleaned everything and dusted the coop and birds. I repeated the procedure 10 days later. I'm going to continue to toss eggs for another 10 days (which is killing me). Any idea if I can hatch these eggs or am I just asking for trouble?

I've always consumed eggs after dusting the hens.

I'm still alive.

I also would use them for hatching as well.

What did you dust with? I would do a week withdrawl from Sevin. Other than that, it shouldn't matter, though I always play it save and give at least 24hrs.

It was poultry and garden dust - Pytherin.

I would say you do not need to throw out any eggs--that's the same ingredient used in human lice shampoo. However, some like to play it safe and throw eggs away for another week. It's up to you.
