I think this hen has feather mites that eat her new feathers. I have been battling this for 2 months now and am starting to wonder if I have misdiagnosed. She is the only one in the flock that has this. I’m on the 3rd round of Bath then ivermectin every 10 days.

Before that, I used premo poultry spray and completely saturated her.

She’s not laying eggs so I’m not worried about egg withdrawal. I’ve treated the coop with diameters earth.

I’m not seeing progress with new feathers and wondering if I have misdiagnosed. (I really don’t think this is molting: feathers are there, but they don’t have any “fluff” on them: they are just the main keratin string thing.
