I have Annie in separated from the rest of the flock, in a mini coop that is inside the main run. I have treated her for SLM a few times and I think the scales look smoother, but she is obviously still in pain. She will barely put her left foot down. I am thinking the SLM were secondary and that she might have injured her foot jumping off her roost or something.
I’m at a loss as to what else to do for her but I hate seeing her in pain. I checked on her this morning and took these photos. You can see the redness and what I think is swelling. (They are also extra dirty from the ointment.) I am tempted to see if my vet will look at her at this point, but I wondered if anyone had any other suggestions.
