egg yoke color

can you change the color of the egg yolk by adding food coloring or something of that sort to the chickens water or feed?

I don't think so... but if you are saying you want darker colored yolks, be sure to feed them lots of grass!!

I have E.E.'s and they are laying green eggs and the grandchildren are fascinated by that lol I was going to see if I could get green yoks some how and really get them going haha.......but thank you very much for the info
