Egg yoke is in the Incubator!

So this is my second time and I'm just subconsciously determined on killing the chicks I guess. Because this morning the vacuum pulled the incubaotr over. 4 eggs smashed and there is yoke on the bottom. It wil be very difficult to clean it so can we leave the broken yoke in the incubator?

The longer you leave it in there the harder it will be to clean. If you don't clean it it will be very nasty by the end of your incubation.

if it stays in there will it effect the chicks. cause idon't know where to put the eggs while i clean it up

I could be wrong because I have never incubated (yet). But wouldn't the yoke cause bacteria to grow in there and make the chicks ill? Maybe not even hatch?

ya its all good now, we heald them in a warm cloth while we cleaned up the yolk.. hopefully they'll be alright
