i was wondering why i get 1 browner egg of the 3 that i get a day anyone know why? or is this just normal there all rirs

Sorry. I don't know. But it'd be cool if your hens layed multicolored eggs! I hope someone more experienced comes along...

All of my RIRs lay slightly different shades of brown. One actually lays an egg I'd describe as porcelain bisque-almost white. She always has. Brown comes in all shades, with or without speckles, matte or shiny finish.
