My chicks are 22 weeks old. At what age I should expect eggs?

What breeds? Most standard breeds and it could be anytime now. A late maturing breed - brahma, jersey giant, etc. - and you could be waiting awhile yet.

I have Rhode Island Red and EE. I can not wait for my first egg. It has been 22 weeks and $500 later, I am still waiting.

With those two breeds you shouldn't be waiting much longer.

I agree with the other posts. They should start at any time. Their combs and wattles should be pretty red. Most of mine started started between 20 and 24 weeks.
