Eggbound chicken experience continued

Sorry here is the continued post. The word living in the previous post should be lubing. I kept her quiet and alone that night and returned her to the flock the next day. She has laid well since with no problems. The egg that was stuck was of normal size. This was my own experience with eggbinding and is not a recommendation or anything for anyone to follow, it was just what I experienced and tried. It is not pleasant to see an eggbound hen but I am glad my little girl got it worked out and don't know if anything I did helped but it made me feel better to be trying something to help her out. She is happy and healthy and pops out her beautiful egg daily again.
