Eggbound? When should I start worrying?

My 9 month old cochin has been laying consistently every day, maybe taking a day off a week. For the last three days, she has spent a couple hours a day in her box, but no egg. Her last egg took about 4 or 5 hours in her box. She seems ok, active, but has only gone one day without laying. When should I stick her in a tub of warm water, or what should I do to maybe help things move along?

I'm having a similar issue right now, my Bantam BR stopped laying. X-rays showed no hard-shelled eggs (soft shells probably wouldn't show on x-ray). But I can feel something small, round and soft. Vet says it's her intestines, but I'm not so sure. How is your hen doing, did she start laying again?
