For this reason I would suggest getting a breed known to carry two copies, such as a Whiting True Blue or Ameraucana

I was going to get a creasted cream Legbar trio for breeding but the hatchery got him wrong. He’s a sweet boy and incredibly well temperd if I don’t get the results I’m hoping for then I’ll switch to a homozygous roo.
