Egglaying Question

Yes i have a question i have 10 chickens as of now they do not lay eggs yet but someone i know wants to give me a few hens that are already laying but i need to know if i get them and when i get the eggs they produce do i wash them off with cold water to make sure i get all the nasty stuff off of them i look to keep most of my eggs to myself and family but maybe sell a few dozen a week to other people and i do not want to give thim dirty eggs any help would be greatly appreciated

Eating eggs, wash. Hatching eggs, don't wash.

we dont normally wash our eggs unless they are really poopy, most of our eggs we get are pretty clean!
