EGGPLANT?

I know this probably has been asked before but is eggplant OK for chickens? I cut up a little and gave it to them this am and they ate it.

I've given the chickens eggplant. It never occurred to me that there could be anything wrong with doing that.

I just thought that they were darn lucky to get any of it.
