Has anyone gotten those eggroll wrappers from the grocery store? They are usually in the produce section. I got some yesterday and thought Id try making some. Any hints or ideas how not to ruin them?
 
DON'T wrap them too tight my neighbor is Asian and she was making like 100 for some party and wrapped them too tight and they all blew up a BIG mess!
 
I use them for my eggrolls. My biggest piece of advice would be don't crowd them when you're frying them. When I make them I freeze some of them uncooked and then when I want to fry them I thaw them a bit and then fry them.
 
Alrighty! Thats what Ill do. I remember about a thousand years ago when I was married, I used to make eggrolls all the time. I dont know why I stopped. They were so good.
 
I haven't made any for awhile...this thread has me thinking it's high time to make some!!

One more thing....I lay them on a cookie sheet to freeze them, then put them in a container and I can just get out how many I need.
 
Mine are very simple. I shread cabbage, carrots, onions together. Then I fry ground pork, and add some powdered garlic and soy sauce to the pork. Mix together, thats my filling mixture.
