So we have four nesting boxes, and three broody hens. One of them had three eggs this morning, but, when a board separating her nest from another nest fell over, one of the eggs broke, and now we have two eggs left under her. The unhatched-chick was still in the nest when I got to the scene, and the eggs were a bit above room temperature, but not by much. I was wondering how long people thought it might take for the remaining eggs to hatch, based on the picture of the unhatched chick below.

The chick seemed to be almost fully developed, and just had the yolk remaining, if that helps... Thank you for your time!

Yeah, it was pretty sad, especially since I thought she had 4 eggs under her, so I have no idea what happened to the 4th egg...

Update: One of the eggs has since gone missing (no sign of egg, shells, chick, or anything), and the last one hadn't pipped when I checked on them yesterday...

Update #2

The Asil's last egg is missing. I have no idea what happened to it, but it disappeared just like the last one. No sign of chick, egg, shells, or anything else. The nest was dry, too! Is the Asil eating her chicks when they hatch?

The next nest over has a Japanese bantam broody, and when I checked on her today, one of her eggs was hatched, but the chick had died (there was also another hen on the nest at the time), and the other one had pipped internally (it has since pipped). Now it's a wait for the chick to zip, and see what happens, but I'm a little concerned that the hen might hurt/kill the chick when it hatches... should I be concerned about that?
