This is my first time incubating eggs. My very first one started hatching this evening!! To say I’m excited is an understatement. This is the first time doing this, so I’m a little nervous about doing everything right to keep them healthy and safe. I’ve done research, but any suggestions would be appreciated. I’ve raised chickens, so I’m good once they are out of the incubator. It’s this experience of “what now” while they are in the incubator hatching that I’m unfamiliar with.

Try to avoid removing chicks if there still wet, wait till there dry. You can also leave them in the incubator for a couple of days, most people take them in the brooder once dried.
