Eggs are here. Incubator is not. A multiple choice quiz.

Sometimes the Ag. centers have incubators to loan out.

So the people I ordered it from just called me back and said that it wouldn't even begin to ship out for 7-10 days and then would take another 3 days to get to me. I cancelled the order. The eggs will be dead by then. I'll go by the co-op and get the 1602. I'll just take this as a cosmic sign that I shouldn't buy the 1588 right now.

I expect I would do exactly what Crunchie said. I'm not sure it is the best idea but that is how my mind works also! Heck, it probably IS the best idea!

I can just SEE me getting the one incubator, and then I would have two of course and I could get more eggs and use the one to hatch in, yup, great idea.

Question--If you are saving eggs for 10 days or so, where do you find a place in your house during hot weather that is 50 degrees?? I'm going to be saving some SF/EE eggs and my chicks aren't due to hatch for 11 more days, so I won't be able to refill the bator until then.
