Eggs Arriving Tomorrow! How long should we let them sit??

First time incubating and we werent sure..So we knew right where to ask for some friendly opinions.

I have always heard 24 hours so that is what I do.

Everything I have read has said any where from 8-12 or 12 or 24 hours, it is to let the air sac settle back down. I too allowed my eggs to set for 24 hours as to make sure it had plenty of time for the air sac to do what it needs to.

Unless they are local pickup I let them settle anywhere from 12-24 hours.

I usually set them the morning after I get them. At least 12 hours, most times more depending when the mail runs.
