Eggs being moved about the coop

I have one hen that lays about an egg a day. 11 eggs now. This morning I see that a few eggs are scattered around the coop. What does this behaviour mean? How likely will this hen go broody? I have three hens and a rooster.

If I find eggs on the ground in my coop, its usually from hens scratching in the nest boxes or too many hens trying to crowd into the same nest box. Maybe your boxes don't have enough of a lip on the front to keep the eggs in? I would say that broodiness likely has nothing to do with this behavior. A hen will generally sit on any healthy eggs whether or not they have been laid by her.
