eggs cold

went in to check my incy I found that the lid was off eggs was cold they have been in the incy for 7 days I put the lid back on and now back up to temp will they be ok

Do you know how long the lid was off? Chick embryos usually don't mind a cool down period, depending on how long and severe the chill. It takes quite awhile for the core temperature of the egg to drop. So if the temperature didn't drop too low and for too long they should be fine.

I think around 6 to 8 hours as i went to work came back and it was off

Just keep incubating and see how they do. Eggs are amazing. But they may hatch a day later because when they get cold like that it seems to slow down development....kinda like it stops for a day to keep baby living until temps return. Good luck!
