Eggs come from where????? (Picture heavy)

I took out the "big guns" (my Nikon D200) to photograph the girls tonight...and I see they're trying to figure out where the eggs are going to come from!

Those are stunning pics! I love the single comb SLW since, last year, I lost my single comb Wyandotte girl, Lorelei.

Thanks, guys!!! I don't take my camera out there often - too much dirt! The difference in the pictures isn't anything I'm doing, it can really be obtained with ANY digital SLR...but that's the difference in the pictures - they were taken with an SLR camera. I have a cheap little digital I keep in my purse for everyday use (the SLR is big and proportionally heavy) but it will never take the pictures this one does.

Speckled Hen - I'm SO sorry you lost your Single Comb SLW. I know what it's like to lose a favorite...I lost my barred rock, Toaster, last week, and I'm so sad. The other of my SLW has a rose comb...I prefer the single comb!
