Eggs dies cold broody duck??

We've been having really warm days. no rain

had a 47 degree day a lil while ago.... hell. But we live next to ocean

and duckies are lucky they just sit in the pond all day

I put golfballs in the nest a few weeks ago to try and make her go broody, so now she layed one of her own and is sitting on 5 golfballs - no i havnt collected any eggs. I am thinking of finding some eggs to buy and get posted to then sit under her. Lol all the golfballs are hot to touch, mind you i would love a baby golfball but i dont think its gonna happen
