Eggs disappear from broody hen!

Good Morning!
We have a hen that's been on her nest over 3 weeks. She hatched one chick but the others have shown no sign of hatching. Early on we moved her into a dog kennel with her own feeder and water to keep her safe and comfortable. My husband went to feed and check on her yesterday and she was up off the nest and the unhatched eggs were all gone! What could have happened to them??

She might have eaten them, for whatever reason. I've had one do this for no good reason that I could see, and another do it with a chick that died during incubation.

Either she ate them or a snake ate them from under her.
