So eggcited for you! Two more days until lockdown for me. Are you using egg cartons with this hatch? Are you doing anything to tell them apart as they hatch?

aces, I chose not to hatch in cartons this time. Last time it seemed like they were struggling to get out! I am going to take pictures as soon as they hatch so I can tell who came from what egg. Then when I take them to the brooder I will write on bottom of foot with a sharpie marker! And maybe use leg bands. We'll see how it goes. I'll keep posting here as they hatch!

Nothin' yet. Humidity holding at 62%! Good enough right? I'll be home all day, so I'll post any big news. Thanks for the kudos on DH's brooder. It really is pretty cool! Can't wait to see chicks in it for the first time! We use to use a cattle trough so this is a big improvement!
