keep them in the bator wait for the others to hatch its hard but will yeild a better hatch. I promise. If you do open to collect chicks try covering with a damp towel as you reach under with one hand scooping the dry ones. this way the humidity will not drop and cause some to shrink wrap.

9 out and I think 7 or 8 pipped. I might make a dash and grab by dinnertime.

My humidity was 60% and temp. 99.9 when it all started. Humidity is up to 76% now and temp. is wonky 'cuz somebody is sittin' on the wire! LOL All fluffy and chirping! I'll go get a 'bator pic for ya!

precious babies!!!!! I love love love seeing that!!! congrats Im so happy for you-If you have an extra pair of hands when you dive into bator have them hold lid while you grab chicks-I recruit the kids and 2 of us grab chicks at once and one opens and closes lid for me-so much safer and faster

Natalie, that's exactly what I'm planning! Two more OE have pipped!!!! This is absolutely my best hatch! I had one of every egg color except one so far! I had 2 eggs of Susan's that were from Alabaster her roo that haven't pipped but that's it so I'm thrilled! More updates later all!
