can eggs that are rained on a lot and exposed to a slight freeze still be viable?

There is always a chance as the duration of freeze and "storage time" will just decrease viability over time. Pop day old fresh hatching eggs in the freezer for 10 min, you'll have minimal effect on their hatchability, leave them in for 30, a greater effect, and for 2 hours, you'll likly have some cracked eggs.

The eggs that I am waiting to hatch now are ones that were left out in the nest and some laid in the mulch and muddy leaves while I was visiting my grandparents at Christmas. Out of 21 , I took out 11 for infertile after a week. Now I am waiting on 10. Have a few peeps, no signs of pecking yet. I figured I had nothing to loose with trying. Hopefully I will have some babies real soon.
