Eggs! Finally!!

So far I've gotten six this week! Not bad considering I think I only have 2 females.

It looks like you've got a lot of guineas! Hopefully you've got lots of eggs soon

Six from two hens in a week is a pretty good start up!

I guess I do have a lot. That picture is about half of the flock. 16 out of the 29

I saw mating today! Still haven’t found any eggs, but still exciting!

I won't get any eggs until some time in April.

That's why I grabbed these suckers up. My husband wants to try to hatch some but I told him nooooooo!!! I could try to sell keets but what if I get stuck with them? I've got 8 guineas that stay in their yard, come in the coop at night and don't fight. I'm not going to disturb that.

We have 12 guineas that free range during the day, and obediently "coop up" at night. They have single handedly eliminated our wood tick population!

I don't think I could handle that many!!!
We ended the week with 13 ends which isn't bad for two females..I think

I'll be happy when it grass starts greening up again so they can eat some bugs. Right now they just peck at the dirt
