Eggs float in water

Hi,
I placed some eggs in water only 5days after been laid and some of them floated to the top. Why would this happen, I understand if they are rotten but not after 5 days of being laid.

They aren't rotten. Every egg has an aircell in the fat end, it's helps a chick breathe before they hatch.
The aircell gets larger as an egg ages sine it looses moisture day by day.

I have found eggs with thin shells lose water faster, so would float sooner.
Shouldn't be anything wrong with them.

I have 1 chicken that lays eggs that notoriously “go bad”within days (per the float test). But I will add when I have cracked them they do seem a bit off once they’re to that point.
