I bought some fertile eggs that had baby chicks inside that where still alive and I wasn't sure if i should put them inside with my quail eggs since I they didn't know how long it has been sitting but I candle them all and they where moving! I now have them with my quail eggs and wasn't sure if its a good idea because it might hatch before the quail or the quail might hatch before will it survive?

Bought fertile eggs with chicks! Now that's different. Yeah, put them with the quail and hope for the best is all you can do now. Put them each on different sides of the bator so if one hatch first, you can keep them semi separated and they wont roll each other around too much. How did that happen? Was it on accident?

It wasn't on accident the guy that I bought it from was an chicken slaughter facility(farm) and the chicken he got the eggs from the chicken that was sitting on eggs and he posted a sign that said eggs for sale. When I got there he told me that all the eggs were fertile and the hen was sitting on the eggs but he doesn't know how long it has been. So, I bought them and candle it and I saw them all have chicks in there I am thinking that it might be two weeks already since the bottom part is really dark
