eggs from breeder pen

If I seperate my nice little roo in w/couple of chose hens how long before they should have fertile eggs out of that roo?They are in a mixed pen now so not sure who they have bred with.

To be sure you get chicks fathered by the rooster you want to use, give 'em three weeks together, before you collect for hatching.
