How long does it take for a fresh backyard hen egg take to go bad in the fridge?

Eggs don't go bad in the fridge. You can keep eggs for a year and still eat them. The grocery stores put dates on the eggs to get you to keep buying eggs, their eggs sit for about 60-90 days before they even put them in stores.

I've eaten eggs that were at least 6 months old that Obelisk has laid. They're best for scrambled but still good.

Go bad is relative. If go bad is defined as rotten, as long as there is no hull breach, they just dry out. Got some 5-6 year old eggs in my room.

If go bad is thick insides, then a few months is about tops if the humidity is too low.
