Eggs good - day 23

I put some eggs under my brothers 2 broody hens 25 days ago. Five eggs under each hen. On Friday one hen hatched out all 5 chicks. The other hen is still sitting on her eggs. Is there a chance that they are still good? The first hen rarely got off the nest. The second hen would get off up to half n hour every day to eat etc. At this point is it possible to see if the chicks are alive? If they have all died what is going to happen to the hen. Will she want to still stay on the nest or will she go about her normal hen business? Thanks

Do you know how to candled them to see if there is movement?
