Eggs good or bad.

I have heard that when you don't know if your eggs are good or bad if you just put them in a bowl of water and if they float they are bad and if they sink they are good. Is that true or false. And if there is a different way to tell just suggest it.

All the float test tells you is that the eggs are old and have large air cells.

X2, eggs left at room temperature will loose moisture as the days go by thus the air sack increases in size making it more buoyant than the fresh ones with a smaller air sack.
