i only had 1 egg left so taking out the disk was easy and i put anti slip kitchen matting down as in pic

you might need to find a way of doing it quickly

what i did was cut the mat out before setting the eggs so i had a template now it may be hard as you have no template for size

take them out aprox 24 hours after hatch or atleast when they have fluffed up and dryed out
take out when all have hatched not before or you loose humidity and leaving for 72 hours max is fine

candle on day 7-10, day 14 and day 18 that should be enough

My Brindea Mini had a semi successfull hatch

The brinsea is a magnificant bator

i didnt get any shrinkwrap at all,

but

the Chick was too big for the shell and couldn't rotate

had to make many calls and many google searches to get answers

the membrane was white and leathery but not dry or tight and the chick seemed to be bursting againt the membraine

so i interveined and we have a lovley cheepy buff orpington chick

its cheeping away and trying to get up so it seems strong but is still drying off

fingers crossed it drys out ok and lives a strong and healthy life

pics will follow onces he looks a bit more presentable

tbh i think she looks a bit runtish and small

yes alone for a few days only then will slowly introduce her to my 3 week olds
